MARTINEZ -- KAREN MARGARET 1970-2011 Karen Margaret Martinez, age 41, a resident of Belen, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 25, 2011. She was married to Robert C. "Bobby" Martinez, on April 14, 2009. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, John A. Brown; grandmother, Sarah Jane "Sally" Huddleston; father-in-law, Robert Martinez and uncle, Michael D. Huddleston. Karen is survived by her loving husband of three years, Bobby Martinez; two sons, Antonio Padilla of Belen and Carlos Padilla and wife, Ashley of Los Chavez; daughter, Desiree Padilla of Glen Cove, NY; three step-children, Sara Martinez, Aysha Martinez and Deezirai Martinez, all of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Chloeigh Padilla of Los Chavez; three step-grandchildren, Raymond Delgado, Ethan Mondini and Aryhias Aragon; father, Paul Krysikewicz and wife, Pat of SC; mother, Suann DeCarolis of NY; mother-in-law, Julia Martinez of Albuquerque, sister, Leticia DeCarolis of NY; sisters-in-law, Patsy Fidel of MT and Roberta Fisher of CA; brother-in-law, Danny Martinez and Abel Martinez both of Albuquerque; grandfather, Robert D. Huddleston of Belen; two nieces, Felicia and Samantha DeCarolis and nephew, Patrick DeCarolis. She is also survived by many other loving family members and friends. A visitation will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel, at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 2, with a Celebration of Life at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Boyd Morerod officiating.
