GOMEZ -- BERNIE V. Age 90, died June 2, 2011. She is survived by her children; Ernest Gomez , Orlando Gomez, Janet Hildreth and husband Brent, Anthony Gomez, and Richard Gomez, grandchildren; Anthony Gomez Jr, Stephanie Gomez, Lisa Gomez, Mario Gomez and wife Nancy, Jonathan Gomez, David Gomez and wife Amy, Michael Hildreth, Katherine Gomez, and Arlene Velasquez; great-grandchildren; Averiella, Gabriel and Janessa. She is also survived by her siblings; Albert Villareal, Sophie Naranjo and her husband Frank, Mercy Villareal and wife Clarabelle, Lucy Deesing and husband Roy, Gilbert Villareal, Sister Mary Louise and many other family and friends. Bernie was preceded in death by her husband Ernesto, her parents Santiago and Elena Villareal. She was a faithful member of the Catholic Church, a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. Mrs. Gomez worked for many years at Montgomery Wards in Albuquerque. A Rosary will be recited Monday, June 6, 2011, 7:00 p.m., at French - Westside location. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 7, 2011, 11:00 a.m., at Santa Maria de La Paz Catholic Church, 11 College Ave, Santa Fe, NM with burial to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at French - Westside.
