TICKNOR -- FLOYD ALLEN Died in the Veteran Hospital at age 95 after a short illness. He is survived by four sons; four step-sons; two step-daughters; numerous grandchildren; and great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by all three of his wives. Floyd volunteered for service in the Army Air Corps in 1941. He trained as a bombardier and served in North Africa and elsewhere. His plane was shot down over Czechoslovakia on July 7, 1944, and he was held as a prisoner of war in Germany until April 26, 1945. A service will be held at 6:oo pm on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Burial will be held at 9:45 am on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
