SPATAFORA -- ELFRIEDE "ELLIE" Age 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1976, died Monday, May, 23, 2011. She is survived by her children Jackie Spatafora and partner David Toon of Gardner, MA; Ron Spatafora and his wife Judy of Plano, TX; and Jeff Spatafora of Albuquerque; NM; Grandchildren Jennifer Butler and Anita Knight; 3 Great Grandchildren and Ellie's brother and Sister Herbert and Ursala. Mrs. Spatafora was proceeded in death by James "Jim" Spatafora her husband. She was a dedicated volunteer at several Air Force Base Thrift shops for over 40 years and a regular attendee at the Base Chapel. Ellie was born in Germany and became a US citizen. Ellie traveled the world with her husband Jim and enjoyed every assignment. Jim and Ellie worked together with the Berlin Air Lift and Train Historical Association. Internment will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Tuesday, May 31st. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Ellie's name to KOSC Scholarship Fund, P.O.
