KOHLER -- BARBARA Of Albuquerque, NM died May 28, 2011 at Kaseman Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. She was born on September 25, 1926 in Marshalltown, Iowa, She was preceded in death by parents, Harold Cooper and Eliza Jane Townsend; brothers, Earl Cooper, Roger Cooper, Ralph Cooper and Lyle Cooper; and husband, Erv Kohler. She is survived by beloved sisters-in-law, Joyce Cooper, Charlotte Miller and Louisa Cooper; many adoring nieces and nephews; and many cherished cousins, among them Georgia Smith, Fern Doty and Sara Devick. She attended rural schools in Tama county and high school and business school in Marshalltown. She was a devoted wife to Erv Kohler and dedicated member of First Presbyterian Church of Marshalltown and Covenant Presbyterian Church of Albuquerque. We would like to recognize with gratitude her friendship with neighbor, Luke Lucas. A service will be held in her honor on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 3:00 p.m., Covenant Presbyterian Church, 9315 Candelaria Road NE, Albuquerque, NM. She will be interred at Linwood Cemetery in Dubuque, Iowa.
