DELICATE -- William Delicate, a long time resident of Albuquerque, passed away on May 15, 2011 at his home. William ( Bill ) was born in Detroit, Michigan. He lived in California for a short time, but spent most of his life in Albuquerque. He was predeceased by his father, William Thomas Delicate ( 1970 ), and by his mother, Eileen M. Delicate ( nee Morgan ) ( 2010 ), both of whom were long time residents of Albuquerque. He is survived by his aunts: Anna Sharkey ( originally Windsor, ON ) Pickering, ON; Maryon Morgan MacRae, Lakeland, Florida; uncles: Bruno Morgan, Burlington, ON; Dr. Philip J. Morgan, Huntington Beach, CA; Jack Morgan ( Cinci ), Windsor, ON; and Robert Morgan, Vancouver, B.C. He is also survived by several cousins on his mother's side, all of whom live in Canada. Bill was a graduate of the University of New Mexico, and later pursued his studies in accounting. He worked in accounting / finance for the City of Albuquerque for almost 25 years. Of all the sports, Bill particularly enjoyed baseball. He was also very interested in landscaping and electronics. Bill was a loving, caring and devoted son. He was the care-giver for both of his parents for many years. He was a devout Catholic, and was a long time member of Saint Charles Borromeo Parish. Most recently, he was a member of the Shrine of Saint Bernadette Parish, both parishes located in Albuquerque. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1818 Coal Place SE, with Father Jerome D. Mueller, Pastor, as the presider. The rosary will be recited before the service at 10:15 a.m. Internment will follow at 1:00 pm at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE. Memorials of your choice may be made in William's honor.
