WAGONER -- Jackson Murphy Wagoner was born November 12, 1952 in Alamogordo, NM and he died May 10, 2011. He joined the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. His military career took him to many places, one of which took him to Loring Air Force Base in Limestone, Maine where he met and married his true love, Agnes Wagoner on October 15, 1974. He had a deep love for music and playing musical instruments. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Jackson M. Wagoner Jr. and his mother Catherine Wagoner; two brothers, Chris Wagoner and Dwight Wagoner. He is survived by his wife Agnes of 36 years; one daughter, Anna Cherry and her husband Mike; two grandchildren, Kimberly Arrellin and Brandi Cherry, both of Albuquerque; three sisters, Jackie Wagoner of Alamogordo, Regina Robertson and her husband Robert of Albuquerque, and Lydia Wagoner of Alamogordo; three brothers, Rudy Wagoner of Alamogordo, Sidney Wagoner of Alamogordo, and Jimmy Wagoner of Alamogordo; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday, May 16, 2011 from 8:30 to 9:30 am at the Blake Road Baptist Church, 1704 Blake Road SW, Albuquerque, NM. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 am at the Blake Road Baptist Church and burial will follow at 3:00 pm in the Santa Fe National cemetery with full military honors. The arrangements for Jackson are in the hands of Salazar and Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW, 247-4124.
