SQUYRES -- Elaine Webb Elaine W. Squyres, 66, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away May 10, 2011. Elaine was born June 8, 1944 in Dothan, Alabama. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Elaine leaves behind her husband, Jeffrey Squyres; her children, Chris Squyres and Beth Squyres and granddaughter Allyson Squyres. She graduated from Dothan High School and received her Bachelors Degree in Education from Troy University in Troy, Alabama. Elaine's career embraced teaching and mentoring adults and children alike and acting as a steward for her co-workers. Her magnetic personality attracted close friends wherever she went. She loved to cook for her family and friends, enjoyed gardening and was an avid college football fan. Her wonderful sense of humor and compassion for others made her easy to love. A special Memorial Service has been planned for 10:00 a.m., June 4, 2011, at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary 6500 E. Bell Rd, Scottsdale, AZ, you are welcome to join us.
