CARTER -- Louise S., born 1923 to Rose and GB Rosasco, Lynbrook, NY, was escorted home to heaven on the wings of her mother and grandmother. Upon her arrival a joyous reunion ensued with those who had passed before her and heaven became a bit brighter. She lived her life by example and embodied virtue, humility, intelligence, and humor. Her career in nursing spanned more than 50 years as she gently touched the lives of so many. She leaves behind her children and their spouses: Susan Carter and the late Matthew Matter, Mary Lee and Dennis Hughes, Louise and Gerasimos Laskaratos, Paul and Cassandra Carter, and John Carter, who passed away in 1997; She also leaves behind eight beloved grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Louise passed from this earth as she had lived, with grace, quiet elegance, and dignity, surrounded by loving family in Albuquerque, NM. A day of remembrance and fond appreciation, ravioli making, and fine home dining is being planned in her honor. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services.
