CHANCE -- Cecil Parvin Chance 1928-2011 Resting in God's land, and safely home in Heaven, our beloved Cecil Parvin Chance passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2011. He was born on August 9, 1928 in Roby, Texas. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynda K. Chance, who passed away at the early age of 40, and one grandson Shawn Eric Hidalgo who passed away in 1976 at the age of a year and five months. Cecil is survived by his wife Shirley, whom he married in 1973; his children Pamela K. and her husband Kevin Williams, Walter Shue and his wife Twila, Dwayne Shue, and Tammie J. Shue; fourteen grandchildren; and fourteen and a half great grandchildren. The family will receive friends and family beginning at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 14th at the First Baptist Church of Belen, where a Memorial Service will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Terrace Grove Cemetery. Urn bearers will be Walter and Dwayne Shue and honorary pallbearers will be his six grandsons.
