JOHNS -- Margie I. Johns, age 86, died on Sunday, April 24, 2011. She was born Sept. 2, 1924, to the late William A. Sears and Jessie I. McDaniel in Minden Mines, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel E. Johns; daughter, Donna R. Johns Davisson; brothers, Kenneth E. Sears and Lloyd A. Sears; and sisters, Barbara J. Sears Lovell and V. Darlene Sears Hipkins. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Johns Montoya and husband Thomas, of Murfreesboro, TN, and Brenda Johns Adams, of Covina, CA; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may visit from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2011, at French - University Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., at French - University Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, 87102.
