ORRELL -- Maury N. Orrell, 86, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947, passed away peacefully at home Thursday, April 21, 2011 with his wife by his side. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dea Orrell; sons, Michael G. Orrell and wife, Judy of Albuquerque and David B. Orrell and wife, Debbie of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Melissa, Daniel, Christopher, Sandra, and Derek; one great-granddaughter, Mikaela; and sister, Glenda White of Bakersfield, CA. Mr. Orrell was born and raised in Snyder, OK. Maury served in the 483rd Bomb Group, 15th Air Force during World War II. He is the last member of the crew. He retired after more than 30 years at Sandia National Labs. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
