DOMME -- Susan. On the morning of April 18, 2011, Susan Yarasheski Domme returned home to our Father in Heaven after her second valiant struggle with cancer. Susie, beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by the care and love of her husband, daughters, sister and family members at the age of 57, at her home in Farmington. Susie was born in Albuquerque, N.M. on October 14, 1953 to Stanley and Julia Yarasheski, the youngest of five children and spent her childhood in Albuquerque and summers with family in Pennsylvania. Having always been involved in athletics as a state gymnast and volleyball player for UNM, Susie went on to earn her masters degree in Adapted Physical Education and become a teacher. While in Albuquerque she met Craig, a fellow St. Pius graduate and devoted husband of 32 years. Upon moving to Farmington, Susie dedicated her life to her four children and to the family business, Willow Woods Sports Park (The Stadium). Susie lovingly gave 27 years of her life to the special needs children of the Farmington Municipal Schools. She was an avid reader, devout Catholic, and active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Susie is preceded in death by her parents, her brother David Yarasheski of Albuquerque and her sister Julie-Ann Frank of Annandale, Virginia. She is survived by her husband, Craig Domme of Farmington, her three daughters Alexis Domme, CPT Sarah Reynolds and husband, CPT Brian Reynolds and Lauren Domme, her son SGT A.J. Domme and wife Heidi Domme, sister Katie Valencia, of Farmington and brother, Paul Yarasheski, of Albuquerque, N.M., as well as her foster brothers Manuel and Rolando Cuervo of Miami, Florida. Cremation has taken place. A rosary will be recited Monday, April 25th at 7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 414 N. Allen Ave. in Farmington. Funeral Mass of remembrance will be celebrated by Father Edward Domme at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 414 N. Allen Ave. in Farmington on Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., with a reception immediately following in the parish center. An inurnment service will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Albuquerque on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow afterwards. Our deepest thanks to everyone.
