PARHAM -- Mary Jo, 83 passed away suddenly on December 11, 2010 in Roswell, New Mexico, her home. She was born October 2, 1927 in Byers, Oklahoma to Albert and Rose Lee Colvin. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Tyler; her brothers Jack, Ray, Jim, Don and sister, Betty. In the year before her passing, she lost her younger siblings Jim, Don and Betty and since her death her brother Jim's wife Wanda passed in March 2011. Losing her brothers and sister had a profound effect on Mary Jo because she helped raise them. She is survived by her husband of 45 years David; her only remaining sibling, June (Ron) Roswell; her children Cassandra Joyce Cuaron (Ernest) Albuquerque, Carl Tyler (Janis) Chandler, AZ, Tanya Ladden Louisville, Kentucky, Clarissa Smith Albuquerque, Kim Pflug (John), Santa Fe Springs Ca.; her grandchildren, Robert Gutierrez (Jennifer), Julie Rael (Fred), Dominic Cuaron, Shane Tyler (Lisa), Rhett Tyler (Jennifer), Ryann Tyler, Bethany Ladden, Greg Ladden, Charelle (Adrian ) Segura, Brian Telles (Jovanna), Nicole Telles, Loren Telles, Tavin Smith, David Fuentes, Kristie Pflug and Sarah Pflug. She is survived by 15 great- grandchildren and one on the way. Mary Jo worked for Furr's Supermarket in Roswell as the manager of the drug department for many years, after moving to Albuquerque, she worked at Signal Drug on Lomas, later became the Cosmetics Manager for Skaggs Drugstore, then she worked at Signal Drug after it moved to Central Avenue before she retired. She worked hard all her life, whether she was working or preparing great meals or cleaning her house. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was in close contact with her siblings and other family members. She and David, her husband, traveled in and out of New Mexico to be in contact with all of their family. She is missed by all of us. Her fears are now over and she is resting at peace in God's arms. Please join the family at a celebration of Mary Jo's life at the Isleta Hard Rock Convention Center, 11000 Broadway SE, on Isleta Pueblo, Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 12:00 noon.
