BLOOMFIELD -- Clifford A. Bloomfield USAF (Ret)- 89, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM since 2006, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011. P reviously of Dallas, TX, he lived there for 35 years before relocating to Corrales, NM to be closer to his family. Mr. Bloomfield was born on August 18, 1921 to Henry Adams and Estella (Winters) Bloomfield of Los Angeles, CA. He entered the US Army Air Corps after graduation from high school and served over 24 years to his country. He was a B-17 gunner during WWII spending most of his time in the Pacific campaigns. He also served tours in Korea and Vietnam. He retired as a Senior Master Sergeant. Mr. Bloomfield was an accomplished artist specializing in bronze statues, portraits and paintings. His extensive research of Greek Mythology further enhanced his artistic creations. In his retirement, he continued to serve his country through the Tea Party Patriots and The Heritage Foundation. He is preceded in death by his wife, Chris Bloomfield. Mr. Bloomfield is survived by his daughter, Paula D. Davis, and her husband, James of Corrales, NM; grandchildren, Deidre Jermolajevs and her husband, Clint, of Spring Branch, TX and James Davis and wife, Lisa, of San Diego, CA; great-grandchildren, Sarahlin Jermolajevs and Logan, Reilley, and Charlize Davis. A Viewing and Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM today, Tuesday, April 19, 2011 in the Parlor of Daniels Family Funeral Services, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM today, Tuesday, April 19, 2011 in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM.
