GABALDON -- Steven R. Gabaldon, 42, was born on November 4, 1968, and passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Steven was a young man in the prime of his life and will leave a large void where he walked. Steven was a business owner for the last fourteen years. He owned Body Craft Auto Body with his father, Leroy Gabaldon. Steven had many hobbies but he mostly enjoyed working on automobiles and restoring them. Another of the hobbies he enjoyed was fishing and was an excellent fly fisherman and would tie his own flies for fishing. He would gladly give his flies to anyone that needed them because he knew they would always work. Steven also enjoyed auto races and dune buggying with his friends. Steven is survived by his father and stepmother, Leroy and Dorothy Gabaldon; brother, Joseph Gabaldon and wife, Margaret; mother, Gloria Romero; aunts and uncles, Celedon and wife, Rosalie Gabaldon, Prem and wife, Jo Gabaldon, and Vivian Gabaldon and family; stepsisters, Deborah Rosales and husband, Arturo and Sylvia Chavez and husband, Nick; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Steven was preceded in death by his uncle and friend, Pete Gabaldon, and his beloved grandparents, Premitivo and Delfina Gabaldon. Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2011, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2011, at the Church with a Communion Service to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.
