PEARSON -- Daniel L. Pearson, Veteran, April 2, 1946 - March 17, 2011. Daniel Lee Pearson, arguably the best man to have walked the earth, died at home after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his girls. Dan is survived by his wife, Sally Pearson; his children, Daniel N. Pearson, Amy Pearson, and Renee Colwill, and by his grandchildren, Marcus and Camoran Hollan, Samantha and Cassidy Parr, and Hannah and Daniel Colwill. He will be joining his father and mother, Herbert and June Pearson, and his sisters, Ellen and Naomi Pearson, on the other side. Dan will be immortalized through his love for Sally and the unique and special relationships he cultivated with each of his children. Dan's public architecture will serve as an enduring reminder of him, along with his command of a fly rod, his patience and intellect, his posole, and the sweetness and breadth of his tomatoes.
