LOUIS -- Cathryn J. Louis, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946 died March 31, 2011. Jean was born in Lorimor, Iowa. She graduated from Iowa State University and served in the Army during World War II being stationed at Bruns General Hospital in Santa Fe. She earned a Masters Degree at University of New Mexico and retired from the Veterans Hospital in Albuquerque where she served as a dietician. Jean was a 50-year member of Chapter 180, Order of Eastern Star, Winterset, Iowa and a member of the DAR and Mayflower Society. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Florence Bacon and by her husband of 37 years, Nick J. Louis. She is survived by her brother, Murray G. Bacon. At her request, there will be no memorial service. Internment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
