LLOYD -- George Emerson Lloyd, age 89, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2011. He is survived by his daughter, Sharla Beth Jones and her husband, Paul of Ruidoso, New Mexico; one granddaughter, Carter Jones; one sister, Maxine Angel and one brother, Bert Lloyd and his wife, Lola; two sisters-in- law, Betty Lloyd and Mary Jo Rumbaugh; and a multitude of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Billirene. George was an APS administrator for many years. He was a wonderful Father and Grandfather. He loved to golf and liked the outdoors. He had a great sense of humor and was a faithful Christian. He was long time member of Hoffmantown Church where he served for many years as a deacon. George was in the United States Marine Corp during WWII serving in the South Pacific. There will be a memorial service on Friday, April 22, 2011, at 10:00 am at the Chester T.
