MURRAY -- Dan Steven Murray, 58, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died March 21, 2011 after a brief hospitalization. He graduated from Rio Grande High School. Dan was honorably discharged from the US Navy. After graduating from Albuquerque TVI he worked as a draftsman for the US Army Corps of Engineers. He was a lifelong musician. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Naomi Hara Murray; daughter, Hesper Murray; son, Jesse Murray; mother, Lena Murray; sister, Diana Riley and husband, Bill, all of Albuquerque; brother, Charles Murray and wife, Jeanne of Peyton, Colorado; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Cleveland Murray. Services will be held at First Spanish Fruit Avenue Baptist Church, 812 Fruit Ave. NW, Albuquerque, on March 29 at 9:00 am.
