MAGNUSON -- Ernest Magnuson, 86, passed away on February 5, 2011. He was born December 20, 1925 in Grafton, North Dakota. He is survived by his daughters, Barbara, Marie, Paula, Kathleen and their husbands; two grandsons; eight granddaughters; and three great- grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann; his son, Daniel; and two granddaughters. Ernest was a veteran who served in the Navy during WWII. He worked as a school administrator for the Bureau of Indian Affairs for most of his career. He also was a special education teacher in Gallup, New Mexico. He was a very kind and loving man who cared about others. His family and friends will miss him dearly. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 9100 Menual Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St Luke's Lutheran Preschool Scholarship Fund.
