CRUZ -- Roy Christopher Cruz, (Chris) age 39 passed away on January 26, 2011 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born on January 23, 1972 in Albuquerque, NM to Diana Cruz and Roy R. Cruz and wife Nora Cruz. Roy was a loving and wonderful man who loved his family and cherished his children. There was nothing he would not do for family or friends. His love for life will never be forgotten and he will be greatly missed. Roy worked for the New Mexico office of the State Engineer for over 15 year. One of his favorite pastimes was having fun with his boys and spending quality time with family. Another one of his passions was to ride motorcycles, Honda CBR 1000. Roy is survived by his wife, Hieu, his children, Christopher, Anthony Cruz and step-son Damyen Medina; one sister, Patty Ann Martinez and her children, two nephews, Vincent "Vinny" and Matthew "Peanut" Martinez; His mother-in-law, Thi Doan, brother-in-law, Trung and sister-in-law, Jennifer and boyfriend, Eric Gallegos; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousin and friends. A Celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 10:30 a.m., at Calvary of Albuquerque. Family and friends may visit on Sunday, January 30, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at French Mortuary ~ Lomas Chapel.
