MARTINEZ -- Jerry David Martinez, 56, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on January 20, 2011 at home with his loving family at his side. Mr. Martinez is survived by his daughters, Angela Vigil and husband, Michael, and Andrea Martinez and her significant other, Floyd Chavez; his sister, Betty Salas and husband, Ernie; brothers, Michael Martinez and wife, Isabel, Anthony Martinez, and George Martinez; his grandchildren, Anthony, Brandon, Alexandria, Angel, Analeise, and Adrianna; and many extended family members. Mr. Martinez was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Albina Martinez. Jerry was retired from the City of Albuquerque Water Department. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church, 2005 Plaza NW from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Ursula Chavez. The Service of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at the Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Salas, Adrian Salas, Matt McCoy, Ronnie McCoy, Robert Trujillo, and Mario Martinez. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Vigil and Brandon Vigil.
