HERNANDEZ -- Anna C. Hernandez, 91, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on January 22, 2011 at home with her loving family at her side. Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her daughters, Mary Lou Torres and husband, Alfred, Estella Elwell and husband, Aniseto, and Antonia Wixom; nine grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; 16 great- great- grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Hernandez loved traveling, especially with her family; she enjoyed quilting and cooking for family. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Churc, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the Rosary at 11:00 a.m., Father Joel Garner, presider. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Edward Elwell, Thomas Elwell Sr., Michael Wixom, Alfred Torres, Richard Cordova, and David Montes. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlotte Perea, Yvonne Smith, Melinda Torres, Denise Czarske, Angela Valdez, Helen Cordova, and Carmen Montes.
