RODRIGUEZ-CHAVEZ -- Elizabeth (Lisa) M. Rodriguez-Chavez, 51, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2011. Elizabeth is survived by her sons, Johnny Lee Chavez and Angel, and James A. Chavez and wife, Maureen; mother, Mary G. Rodriguez and Leo Flores; sister, Yvette Rodriguez and Bruce; brother, Hector M. Rodriguez and wife, Virginia; her nine grandchildren, whom she adored, Michael, Alyssa, Domonicque, James Alex, Daemiean, Nieomi, Theresa, Josiah, and Kimberlee; special cousin, Mary Helen Edmondson and husband, Bill; Godchild, Lyssette Rodriguez-Garcia; her pets, Canela and Coco; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Hector Rodriguez; and grandparents, Martina and Merced Galvan. Lisa was employed by the Social Security Administration for 23 years. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 10:30 a.m., by Deacon Santos Abeyta. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the Rosary at 11:00 a.m., Father Gerry Steinmetz, presider. Interment of cremains will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Lisa will be missed by all her cousins and friends. She was a joyful, loving and caring person with a beautiful smile and big heart who was always willing to help others.
