LUCERO -- James E. Lucero was born on November 27, 1948 to Tino and Lena Lucero and passed away January 16, 2011. James loved his family dearly. James is survived by his wife of 43 years, Elizabeth (Liz) Lucero; his daughter Carole Lucero (daughter Tori); his son Michael (Mickey) Lucero (daughter Mikayla); his son Jimmy Lucero (daughter Brooklyn); and his daughter Melissa (Missy) and her husband R.V. Minter (sons Malaki James and Markus). A celebration of James' life and rosary will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 7:00 p.m., at the Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo Blvd NE. Funeral Mass with reception following to be held Thursday at 9:00 a.m., at Nativity of the BVM Church, 4th and Alameda. Arrangements in care of Riverside Funeral Home.
