PEREZ -- MaryLou Perez was born March 31, 1955 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She passed away Saturday, January 8, 2011 in Albuquerque at the age of 55. MaryLou was an active member of San Jose Parish, always assisting with the Fiestas and so many other ministries within the Church. She was a devoted Miami Dolphins fan and always enjoyed watching them play and collecting the team memorabilia, which adorns the Perez house. MaryLou also loved to dance, but will truly be remembered for her love of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Inocensio "Chencho" and Guadalupe Vargas. MaryLou is survived by her beloved husband, Fidencio Perez "Fidie" of the family home; twin brother, Joe Louis Vargas and wife Linda; brother, Inocensio Vargas; sisters, Esperanza Jiminez and husband RC, Connie Montes and husband Juan; mother-in-law, Nancy Chavez; brother-in-law, Ray Perez and wife Annie; step-sons, Fidencio Perez Jr. "Fidie", Christopher Perez, Andrew Perez and wife Vickie; step-daughter, Eileen Perez; several step-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at San Jose Parish 2401 Broadway Blvd SE. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 7:00 p.m., in the "Old Parish". Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., in the "New Parish". Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery, 700 Yale Blvd SE, at the corner of Yale and Avenida Cesar Chavez.
