SALAS -- Evangeline (Eva) Salas, 59, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 with her loving family by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Mora; sister, Virginia Mora; brother, Frank Mora Jr.; and nephew, Mark Mora. Eva is survived by her daughter, Michelle Salas; son, Eric Salas and Tina; special grandchildren, Vanessa Griego and Eric Salas, Jr.; sisters, Velma Benavidez and Herman, and Betty Garcia and Steve; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and other beloved family members. Eva's love for her family, friends, and life will be cherished and greatly missed. Services will be held at San Jose Parish, 2401 Broadway Blvd SE on Wednesday, December 29, 2010. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Montoya, Marcus Montoya, Jacob Paz, Manuel Padilla, Christopher Lucero, and Lawrence Trujillo. Honorary pallbearers will be Santana Mora, Ruben Mora, and Larry Gonzales.
