CROUCH -- Mary E. Crouch (Ernestine) was born in Rosebud, Falls County, Texas on February 24, 1915. She passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2010. She played high school basketball and went to State Championship. A bright student, she skipped a grade and graduated with her brother J.F, in a graduating class of 11 students. She moved to Waco, Texas to go to beauty school and, while living there, met her future husband, CH Crouch Jr. (Holt). They were married on Dec 1, 1941; and celebrated 53 years of marriage before his death in 1994. They moved their family to Albuquerque in 1951. Ernestine was a very active member of First Baptist Church for over 50 years and then Del Norte Baptist. She worked for The Baptist Book Store/Lifeway from 1958 until she retired at age 72. Ernestine was preceded in death by her daughter, Alice Brice. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Wilmarth, Lily Curtis, and foster daughter, Tracy Ahr; son-in-law, Bill Wilmarth; grandchildren Sidney Scott Wilmarth, Joshua Wilmarth, Kelly King, Amy Wilmarth and Matthew Wagner; grandson-in-law Tom King; step-grandchildren Kelly, Kyle and Koby Curtis and their spouses; great grandchildren Joseph and Joshua Wilmarth, Anna King, Maddox Wagner, William Seth Wilmarth, Hannah and Emily Ahr, and Mikka Curtis. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010, 10:00 a.m., French, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Private interment will take place.
