CAUGHREN -- Eleanor Pickett Caughren, 86, resident of Albuquerque since 1950, died October 29, 2010. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty years James L. Caughren of Albuquerque; children Kristan George, James L. Caughren, Amy C. Bond and husband Eric; her grandchildren James Fife and wife Dusty, Richard George and wife Jessica, Andrea Caughren, Mary Caughren, Jay Caughren, Jason Scholer, Travis Scholer, Joleen Bond; brother Bob Pickett and wife Erica of Anacortes, Washington; cousin Mary Burt and husband Dennis. She thoroughly enjoyed her memberships in Gamma Phi at University of Illinois and Assistance League of Albuquerque. She received her Master's Degree in English at Berkeley, taught grade school in Davenport, Iowa, Roswell and Farmington, New Mexico. She was the presiding judge of Bellehaven precinct, volunteered in the development of Bellehaven School Library, and served on the East Area School Board. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Services will be held at French ~ Wyoming Chapel on November 2, 2010 at 1:00 pm.
