GEIS -- Catherine L. Geis, 97, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away October 25, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Walter; sister Alma and husband, Wayne Avery; her son, Edward; and daughter-in-law, Barbara. Catherine is survived by her son, Robert and his wife, Anna Mae; daughter-in-law, Bertha; eight grandchildren and their spouses; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-granddaughters; and nieces, Judi and Linda and their spouses; friends, Helen Casey, Anne Page and Linda Urioste. Catherine was a woman of amazing inner strength and independence. She carried on with grace and fortitude after the loss of her spouse with the loyal companionship of her dog, Guy. Special thanks to her caregivers at Carefree Living and Ambercare Hospice. Interment of cremated remains will take place at Mt.
