SISNEROS -- Lucy Slavin Romero Sisneros, 71, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and resident of Peralta, born May 1, 1939 to Vincent F. and Ida Slavin Romero, passed away on October 20, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Joe C. Sisneros; sons, Roger and Jeffery Sisneros; grandchildren, Christopher R. Sisneros, R. Jonathan Sisneros, Mirandy Sisneros, Felisha Gurule, Anthony Sisneros, J. Joshua Sisneros, Crystal R. Sisneros, and Raymond J. Sisneros; nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Jose Lopez, Lupe Slavin Romero and his wife Elinor, Florinda Griego, Katherine Young and her husband Jim, Shirley Mendoza, and Carmel Romero, extended family members and friends. Lucy was loving, caring, and always had advice to give her children and grandchildren. She was always there when you needed her. Lucy retired from the City of Albuquerque Aviation Department after many years of dedicated service. Friends may visit French ~ Lomas Chapel on Monday, October 25, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, also at the French~ Lomas Chapel.
