SAMPSON -- Tracy Lynn Sampson of Sedgwick, ME and Albuquerque, NM died peacefully in the arms of her partner, Lynn (Lynnsey) Carroll, after a courageous battle with a devastating brain cancer. Tracy is survived by family and friends who will miss her greatly. A gathering to celebrate Tracy's life will be held in November. Contact apiland@cnm.edu for information. Her life's work was helping people to better themselves via education at CNM and more recently at NMSU. A foundation called Tracy's Place is being established to help women seeking an education and to help people diagnosed with a terminal disease to live with grace, humor, faith and dignity as Tracy did.
