LUCERO -- Albert B Lucero, 100 Years Old, went peacefully surrounded by family. Mr. Lucero retired in 1968 from the Santa Fe Railroad and devoted the rest of his life to family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Maria; and sons, Frank, Albert II and Antonio J. Lucero. He is survived by his brother Alfredo Ortiz and five daughters, Rafelita Faby, Dolores, Carol and Prescilla. He took pride in having eight children, 27 grand-kids, 47 great-grand kids and seven great- great-grand kids. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Viewing will be held on Monday, October 11, 2010 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Salazar & Sons Mortuary followed by the Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral will be on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 in Chilili, NM at the Mission Church at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception after the burial. All are welcome.
