CANDELARIA -- Susie E. Candelaria, 88, died on Tuesday, October 5, 2010. Mrs. Candelaria was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Candelaria: brothers: Martin Anaya and Isidro Romero, sisters: Angie Garcia, Loretta Gomez, and Bennie Tapia, and sister-in-law Patricia Anaya. She is survived by her spouse of 62 years, Samuel B. Candelaria; son: Sam and wife, Annie; daughter Lorriane and fiance Christopher Anderson; daughter-in-law: Maryann; brothers: Larry Anaya and wife, Anita, and Rudolfo Anaya; sisters: Edwina Garcia and husband, Al, and Dolly Saavedra and husband, Al; grandchildren: Geraldine and husband Rudy, Theresa and husband, Yei, Jang, Krizia, Alyssa, Janelle, Jacob; great- grandchildren: Trinity, Ariah, Natelin, Sienna, and Evan. Susie was always welcoming anyone to her home because she was a kind and generous woman. She loved the outdoors, working in her yard, and being with her grandchildren. Because she was a woman so full of life, please wear colorful attire to her Life Celebration which will begin with a Visitation at 4:30 p.m. and Rosary at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday in the Reflection of Life Chapel (Washington and Cutler NE). Life Celebration Mass is pending and will be announced at a later date. Committal Service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
