ROMERO -- Rose B. Romero, 77, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on October 4, 2010 at home with her family at her side. Mrs. Romero is survived by her daughter, JoDeen Anaya and husband, Gabe; her sons, Richard Romero and wife, Berna, Larry Romero and partner, David Lopez. and Anthony Romero and wife, Doreen; her grandchildren, Nicole Romero, Steven Anaya, Mario Romero and fiance, Lena, Diana Ornelas and husband, Mon, Raelynn Anaya and fiancee, Gilbert, Anthony Romero, Zac Romero and girlfriend, Amanda Aragon; her great-grandchildren, Michael Romero, Ricci Garcia, Santiago Samora, Gabriella Garcia, and Gessica Garcia; her sisters, Mellie Gonzales and husband, Tim, and Syrlia (Lila) Montoya; sisters in law, Gloria Baca, Frances Brock and husband, Jerry, and Virgie Chavez; her brothers-in-law, Fidy Romero and wife, Gloria, Marty Romero, and Mon Romero; her best friends, Stella Trujillo and husband, Freddie, and Frances Sanchez. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, E. A. (Herman) Romero; her parents, Baltazar and Josefita Baca; her brother, Max Baca; and her sisters, Margaret Martinez, and Dometilia Garcia. Visitation will be Thursday, October 7, 2010 from 6:30 p.m., until 7:00 p.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., by Trini and Valerio Lucero. Final visitation will be at the Church on Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., a Franciscan Friar, presider. Interment of cremans will follow at San Jose de Armijo cemetery. Urnbearer will be Nicole Romero. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
