CARPENTER -- Janet Gayle Henard Carpenter, 58, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico since 1988, Died October 1, 2010. She is survived by her daughter and best friend, Tiffany Diane Belle Simmons and her granddaughter, Angelina Trinity Belle both of Albuquerque; Her father, Silas H. Henard of Albuquerque; One brother, David Henard and his wife Barbara of Edgewood; one nephew, David Henard of Fenton, MI and one niece, Buffy Henard Domingue of Lafayette, LA., and close friends Shauna Sanchez of Albuquerque and Judy Warma of Moore, OK. Janet was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Marie Henard of Gardena, CA. She was a member of Four Square Gospel Church. Janet was an extremely bright and gifted individual with exceptional writing skills. She received an Associate in Arts from Oscar Rose Junior College in Oklahoma. Following her career as a machinist at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, OK she was a long time homemaker here in Albuquerque. She enjoyed the power of healing others including the lead role in prayer chains and she had the incredible talent of creating a variety of articles including jewelry, accessories and clothing. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Janet's life will be held Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 4:00 p.m., at French Lomas Chapel 10500 Lomas NE.
