VALDEZ -- Dorie Ann Valdez, 43, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2010. Dorie Ann is survived by her children, Lindy A. Valdez, Pete Rudy Marquez Jr., Nicole M. Marquez, Stephanie M. Marquez, and Albert Michael Marquez; her father, Bernie Valdez and wife, Irene; her grandmother, Edwina Gomez; her aunt Dorothy Martinez and husband, Lawrence; her sisters, Alice Chavez and husband, Timmie, Emily Muller, Connie Valdez, Bernice (Buckie)Dorah, and Juanita Valdez and companion, Eloy Garcia; brothers, Joe Valdez, Ronnie Valdez, Larry Valdez and wife, Nancy, and Eddie Valdez and wife, Anna Garcia; 11 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Dorie Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Helen Valdez; and her brother, Jerry Valdez. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 6, 2010 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., with a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetey. Pallbearers will be Pete Marquez Jr., Albert Marquez, Eloy Garcia Sr., Frank Martinez, Ronnie Valdez, and Anthony Montoya.
