RUBLE -- Roland R. "Skip" Ruble, 76, a resident of Albuquerque since the 1940's and a prior resident of Santa Fe, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Betty H. Ruble; children, Sandy Ryan and husband, Bill, of Reno, NV, and Patricia Lynn Houk and husband, Douglas of Clovis, NM; step-children, Charles Irland of Albuquerque, Richard Irland of Albuquerque, Jeff Irland and wife, Terri of Portland, OR, Lori Battiste of Albuquerque, and Kathryn Metcalfe and husband, Larry of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Steven Ryan, Jeremy Metcalfe, Josephine Battiste and Kimberly Irland; and great-grandson, Killian Ryan. Skip was preceded in death by his son, Steve Ruble. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place Friday, September 24, 2010, 1:00 p.m., at French - University Chapel.
