BRIDGES -- Charles "Chuck" V. Bridges, born May 29, 1921, in Silverton, TX passed away at the age of 89, Thursday, July 22, 2010 at the Veteran's Hospital in Albuquerque, NM after suffering from a long illness. He was preceded in death by parents, Garret and Lillie Bridges; two brothers, Lloyd and Myers; and sister, Myrtle. Chuck is survived by his son, Chipper Bridges and his wife, and six grandchildren of Nevada; a daughter; as well as other family and friends who loved and will miss him. He is also survived by his eldest brother, Newell "Slim" Bridges, 94, who he dearly loved and respected, and his wife Grace. Chuck will also be missed by the Duran family who were longtime friends.
