WALTER -- Krista Lynne Walter, 43, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Randi Walter and boyfriend, Casey; son, Jared Walter; father, Robert Whitney; mother, Sandy and husband, Richard Cahill; sisters, Cindy Prater and husband, Stan, Kris Ann Garrison and husband, Greg, and Tammy Root and husband, Brian; her boyfriend, Jason Lauterbarch; and nephew, Chris Burke. Krista was born August 18, 1966 in Flint, MI. She moved to New Mexico at age 11 and has resided in Rio Rancho since. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 25, 2010, at 3:00 p.m., at French - Westside Chapel. In lieu of fresh-cut flowers, the family requests plants.
