LAWHORN -- Kathleen Lawhorn, 90, died June 26, 2010. She is survived by her sons, Col. Paul Lawhorn and wife Linda, John Lawhorn and wife Martha; and her daughter-in law Judy Lawhorn; grandchildren, Alicia, Becky, Sean, Dawn, Thomas, Laura, David, Alex and Shannon; and several great-grandchildren and many other family and family friends. Mrs. Lawhorn was preceded in death by her husband George Fredrick Lawhorn; son Fred Lawhorn; and parents, Charles and Minnie Williams. Kathleen was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church where she was active in the Twosome Sunday School Class and a member of the choir. She was a member of the American Red Cross during World War II. Mrs. Lawhorn was also active in Christian Women's Club and Sombra Del Monte Extension Club. Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 2, 2010 at First United Methodist Church, 314 Lead Ave SW. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at French ~ Lomas, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE.
