MULCOCK -- James "Bud" Mulcock Jr., 71, died June 25, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Louise; daughter, Elizabeth Cazel and husband David; and son, James B. Mulcock III; grandchildren, Jacob and Nash; mother, Agnes Mulcock; sister, Georgie Lutz and husband Calvin; brother, Charles Mulcock and wife Marcetta; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father James B. Mulcock Sr. Mr. Mulcock was a graduate of Artesia High School, and received a Law degree from the University of New Mexico. He worked for Congressman E. S. Johnny Walker in Washington D.C., and following graduation from UNM Law School, he worked at the New Mexico State Attorney General's office. For nearly 20 years he worked for PNM before retiring as Vice President of Corporate Affairs. He also served as President of the Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce and after retirement he lobbied for the New Mexico Activities Association and the Coalition of School Administrators. He was a long time member of La Mesa Presbyterian Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the La Mesa Building Fund, 7401 Copper NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. A Memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Cremation has taken place.
