MONTOYA -- Maria R. Montoya went to her heavenly reward May 26, 2010, eight days shy of 100. She was born June 3, 1910 in Pajuaque NM. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe E. Montoya; and her eldest son Luciano Montoya. She is survived by her seven children, Arsenio (Lupe), Anita, Louisa, Malena (Bill Giffen), Marcella, Fermin (Michelle), and Margarita; 28 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; sister Basilia (Pablo) Cordova . She helped raise David, Anna, and Estevan. Pallbearers will be David, Leo, Lorenzo, Julianna, Jennie, and Leah. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited Monday, May 31, 2010 at St. Anne's Church at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family has deep appreciation to all the caregivers who contributed to her longevity, Jennie, Lourdes, Leah, Ariceli, among many others.
