GURULE -- Albert Gurule, 91, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on April 1, 2010 with his family at his side. Mr. Gurule is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Genie; his daughters, Barbara Gallegos and husband, Richard, and Diane Gurule Livingston; his sisters, Sister Rosalie Gurule, Emma Rodriguez and husband, Eddie, and Nellie Salas and husband, Toby; his brother, Francisco (Frank) Gurule and wife, Gloria; his five grandchildren, Thomas, Andrew, Felicia, Annie, and Scott; and his great-grandson, Caleb. Mr. Gurule was a member of the Catholic Church and a former Senator and State Representative. Visitation will be Monday, April 5, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Tuesday morning at the Church from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Committal Service will be Tuesday 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Thomas Vigil, Andrew Vigil, Richard Gallegos, Orlando Vigil, Bob Livingston and George Flores.
