GARCIA -- Mary A. Garcia, 68, of Albuquerque and native of El Carmel NM, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 to be with our Lord and Savior. She was born to the late Emilio Martinez and Clorinda Chavez-Martinez. Survivors include her children: Patricia, Ronald, and James (Veronica) of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mary was a loving grandmother, mother, wife, sister, aunt, daughter, cousin, friend, and will be deeply missed by all those that knew her. She also enjoyed her profession in the account collections field having retired in 2008 from the U.S. New Mexico Federal Credit Union in Albuquerque. Cremation has taken place by Direct Funeral Services of Albuquerque. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2010 at St. Gertrudes Church in Mora. Funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at the same church followed by burial at El Carmel Cemetery.
