ANAYA -- Richard William Anaya July 7, 1965 ~ March 26, 2010 Our Beloved Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, and Friend has passed away and joined lost loved ones in Heaven. Richard was 44 years old. He was employed by El Mirador. He worked for Anaya's Roadrunner Wrecker Service and Bob Towing. He enjoyed cooking, doing auto body work especially on his low rider, was an excellent artist along with his tattoo designs, spending time with his nephews and nieces. Richard's pride and joy was the time when he was a Volunteer Fire Fighter for the Agua Fria Fire and Rescue and was 2nd Lieutenant in the department and he fought many wild land fires, the Cerro Grande Fire, Bosque Fire, Vivash Fire, Dalton Fire, Gila Fire, Borrego Fire, and he also went as far as California. He also worked at Perkins Restaurant as a Chef. Richard was preceded in death by his dad Ralph Martinez; his brother Christopher Anaya Jr.; his grandparents Ike and Flora Montano; grandmother Bessie Anaya; his two Padrinos Tony Montano and Felimon Montoya, Pete and Katie King, Sally Anaya, Henry Anaya Sr., Richard Ortega, and Gilbert Rotunno. He is survived by his son Mitchell Montano (Nicole); mother Florise Martinez; father Chris Anaya (Misty), Madrina Lupe Montoya; aunts: Toni Ortega, Tita Anaya, Tessie Gonzales, Sophie Anaya, and Emma Sanchez, Robert Anaya Sr. (Bernadette), Theresa Montano (Mario Sr.), Gloria Zubia (Adolfo), Kico Anaya (Stephanie), Ernie Leyba, Cody Anaya, Chianne Anaya, and Larry Martinez (Theresa); nephews: Chris Martinez (Sally), Mark Montoya, Mario Montano (Jessica), Robert Anaya Jr. (Victoria), Marcos Montano (Kesha), Marcos Zubia (Donna), Andrew and Michael Leyba, and Johnny and Christopher Anaya; nieces: Belinda Avila, April Montoya (Tony), Marissa Montano (Goddaughter) , Monique Montano (Joe), Sativa Anaya and Alyssa Anaya; great-nephews and nieces: Michael, Marina, Mariah, Joseph, Jaimie, Deaven, Raylynn, Andrew, Elijah, Evangeline, Extacy, Damian, Javier, Jordan, Annica, Alysha, and Matthew; He is also survived by special friends Mike Chavez (Turbo), Daniel Sandoval, Billy Vanholtz, and Randy Lopez. A Rosary will be recited Monday, April 5, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at San Isidro Catholic Church (Parish Center). A second rosary will be recited Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. also at San Isidro Catholic Church (Parish Center). Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 noon. Pallbearers will include: Chris Martinez, Mario Montano Jr., Robert Anaya Jr., Marcos Montano, Mike Chavez and Rudy Padilla; Honorary Pallbearers will include all of Mr. Anaya's nephews and nieces.
