MILLS -- Charlene M. Mills, 82, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010. She was born on December 4, 1927 in Galesburg, Illinois to Cecil J. and Nettye H. Foster. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Mills. She is survived by a son, Charles D. Mills and wife, Sandy of Denver, Colorado; a daughter, Teresa A. Mills and husband, Daniel Gabaldon of Albuquerque; a brother, Jack Foster and wife, Margaret of Costa Mesa, California; three grandchildren; Stephani, Zachary and Summer; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Charlene was an obstetrics nurse for Lovelace/Bataan Memorial Hospital and an RN for Sandia National Labs. The family would like to express their love and gratitude to Rosie Jones, Charlene's best friend and personal angel. Cremation has taken place. Services will be Thursday, April 1, 2010, 10:00 a.m. at French ~ Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE 87112. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 10501 Montgomery Blvd NE 87111.
