KINNIKIN -- Ruby Irene Kinnikin Morton, 91, a resident of Los Lunas for 25 years, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 25, 2010. She is survived by her husband, Richard Morton of Los Lunas; children, Joe K. Kinnikin and wife, Phylis of Bosque Farms and Paula Fife and husband, Dr. John R. Fife of Flagstaff, AZ; grandchildren, Dana Irene Eager and husband, Dale of Belen, Joe K. Kinnikin Jr. and wife, Carol of Everett, WA, and Clayton Howard and wife, Tessie of Silver City; great-granchildren, Clayton Joe, Brandy Jo, Ryan, Caleb and Jacob; and sister Ethel Lessing of San Antonio, TX. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carroll Howard Kinnikin; daughter, Frances Kinnikin; and grandson, Isaiah Kinnikin. Ruby was a member of the Eastern Star. She was a longtime member of the Truth of Consequences Fiddlers' Association. Along with her husband, Carroll "Goldie" Kinnikin, she traveled New Mexico for his work for Brown Construction Company. A service will be held, Saturday, April 3, 2010, 1:00 p.m., with Father Robert Monday of St. Michael's Episcopal Church of Los Lunas officiating, at French- University Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. N.E. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, great-grandsons and her son-in-law.
