GRIGG -- Viola "Sue" Grigg, 94, of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2010. She was born December 1, 1915 in Rountree Township, northwest of Witt, Illinois. Mrs. Grigg was the daughter of Thomas LeRoy and Vera Ann (Rupe) Lipe. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1934. Mrs. Grigg married Charles Grigg of Fillmore, Illinois. He preceded her in death in 1964. They were residents of Litchfield, Illinois, from 1949 through 1963. Mrs. Grigg was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Before retirement, she was employed by the Illinois Department of Transportation in Springfield. She is survived by son, C. Dennis Grigg of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, M. Ann Look and husband, Hunter of Albuquerque, NM; three grandchildren, Kristi Grigg of Phoenix, AZ, Shane Grigg of Bakersfield, CA, and Laurie Menzel and husband, Ralph of Stuttgart, Germany; and two great-granddaughters, Meredith Menzel of Stuttgart, Germany, and Raylee Grigg of Bakersfield, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister; and two grandchildren. Mrs. Grigg was a member of St. Timothy United Methodist Church in Litchfield, Illinois. A visitation will be held for friends and family on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., at French - University Location. Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Timothy United Methodist Church of Litchfield or to the Julie Ann Look Fund for Pediatric Oncology Research at the University of New Mexico Foundation, Albuquerque, NM.
